Whatever golf equipment that you play, you most likely feel a connection – either or good or bad depending on recent results – to that golf equipment manufacturer. One company is looking to capitalize on that connection and to help bring like-minded supporters together. Nike Golf is creating a digital community, “The Grind” at www.nikegolf.com, starting on November 1st.
“We are excited to be able to take another step in doing what Nike does best – connecting with consumers,” said Mike Kelly, Director of Global Brand Marketing for Nike Golf. “Through The Grind, we are able to engage, connect and inspire golfers. This is only the beginning of bigger things to come in Nike Golf’s new community. It is yet another example of how Nike Golf is the athletic golf brand of choice.”
Members of The Grind will have access to insider content with an emphasis to inspire and guide golfers to improve their games. Nike athletes and athletic trainers will provide key personal training tips specific to the sport in the “Training” section on The Grind. Community members can upload their swings, to see how their golf swings measure up and compare them side-by-side to their friends and/or Nike Golf athletes and share on their facebook and twitter accounts.
Also there is the opportunity to learn more about the philosophy behind new technologies and designs, golfers can access the minds of Nike Golf’s product engineers and designers.
