Attention Green Bay Packer fans, it’s not too early to make plans to watch your Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers this July in the annual American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. Rodgers recently confirmed that he once again will be participating in this popular celebrity tournament.
The Green Bay quarterback will join tournament regulars including Michael Jordan, John Elway, Jerry Rice, Jack Wagner, Charles Barkley, Kevin Nealon and Ray Romano, as well as seven-time champion Rick Rhoden and defending champion Billy Joe Tolliver. Among the newcomers who have signed on this year are NHL goalie Martin Brodeur, New York Jets coach Rex Ryan, actor Tim Matheson, the New Jersey Nets’ Deron Williams, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, actor Rob Morrow and former major league pitchers Tom Glavine and Goose Gossage.
The 22nd annual tournament features about 80 celebrities from the worlds of sports and entertainment. The 54-hole tournament will be July 15-17, with practice rounds and celeb-ams earlier in the week.
