Golf longest hitters have historically been the sport’s most popular attractions. Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, John Daly and Tiger Woods have all been known from their prodigious length and all are arguably among the top ten most recognizable players in the game.
One new organization is bringing that fascination with the long ball to the masses to help raise money for charity. Charity Golf International was founded last year by the team of Bobby Bradley and Chris Carey to help raise money and provide entertainment for charitable groups by utilizing some of the top world long drive competitors.
Bobby Bradley is a professional golf entertainer and 6-Time REMAX World Long Drive finalist, while Chris Carey has worked with local and national charities since 2007. The duo helped raise over $6,000 in their first event together in 2009.
Two years later, they created Charity Golf International, which offers a roster of some of the longest hitters on the planet for golf event appearances. Their impressive team of long drive golfers has over 35 trips to the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships, and more importantly, they have raised millions of dollars for charity.
