Launched in 2011, Golf to End Cancer is a program of Marathon of Miracles, which is a nonprofit organization that provides education on wellness and cancer prevention through its website and at its Wellness Day events. The organization was founded by AJ Ali and his wife Jane, a breast cancer survivor. AJ and Jane are dedicated to bringing wellness and cancer prevention education into golf.
“This VIP outing is our signature fundraiser. It’s a 2-day, 5-star event which promises to be filled with those extra touches to make all golfers and sponsors feel like a VIP,” said AJ Ali, Golf to End Cancer (G2EC) founder.
“We put great thought into planning the event. We didn’t want the average-scramble fundraiser,” said Ali. “This is a best-ball event where you will play your own ball, while you are challenged on a premier golf course, and have your own caddy.”
Caves Valley Golf Club is a premier private golf club featuring a spectacular 18-hole course designed by Tom Fazio. In addition to the golf course, the club offers a spectacular state-of-the-art practice facility which includes multiple practice ranges with sand bunkers, chipping greens and putting greens.
